My swedish computer has been really slow lately so I'm just going to write this post on my school computer, which will be in english.
Hi to whoever is reading this. It's been a while since I last posted something here. I'm going to try to write about the things I've been doing the last months and post some pictures of it down below.
The last months have been fun. Winter is here and there is a lot of snow. It's cold and windy but thats becuase we live by lake michigan. We've had a lot of snowdays lately, that is days when you don't go to school becuase it's too cold out or to much snow that it can be a danger to the kids that attend the high school. We've had 6 of those days this year, since january, and we'll probably have some more because it's just february yet and there's still a lot more snow to come. During these days there is not much you can do. If you have homework it's a great time to do that becuase you hahve the day off, you can watch movies, meet up with friends if the weather isn't too bad, go out to eat lunch.. there is a lot of things you can do just to make your day pass by without just sitting at home doing nothing.
In December skipractice finaly started and we could start go up to our hill every day after school to get better at skiing and practice before races. From when I started til now I'm proud to say that I've developed from a bad skiier to a pretty good skiier. In the races we've had I've placed top 10 and in our last race we had I got 4th place in slalom and 3rd place in giant slalom. I was really proud becuase I never thought I could develop as much as I have and place that good! This season has been really good and I'm really glad I could be a part of the Manistee Ski Team.

Another big thing that was a lot of fun was Winter Carnival. Winter Carnival is a dance, like homecoming or prom, but it is during the winter.. makes sence, right?
I had a ton of fun during the dance with my friends and with my date, if you didn't know her name is Sophie. Me and my friend Bryce got ready together and we had fun just doing that. After that we went to take pictures with other people becuase it's fun to do and everyone is so dressed up. Me and Sophie took a lot of pictures too, here are some of the pictures of us:

And we just took some pictures during the night but I have like a million of them so I'm just going to post some of them, here they come!
And I actually tied this bow-tie myself (with a lot of help of my host-mom) but I thought that was pretty cool. And I love my flower I got from my Sophie, she made it and painted it!
My winter carnival was great and as I said, I had a lot of fun. I think that was everything I wanted to say for this time.
I will try to blog a little bit more often now so you guys know what I'm doing here. Okey, I'll talk to you later!
